H2 '25 Variety Pack
March 18, 2026I’ve been pretty bad about sharing photos recently, particularly when half a roll ends up sitting in the camera for a month or four more than expected. This post has a bunch of odds and ends collected last year. I titled this H2, but I’m pretty sure the first few are from a camping trip in June. Who knows.
Got this developed so long after the hike, that I am not even sure where we were. I think it was Mariposa Grove in Yosemite.
For 4th of July we went camping with Nick and Alex in Slide Ranch. It was a pretty cool spot, even if our hike ended up being super random.
At Hannah’s request we double-crosstown-trailed. The beginning of the hike is challenging, going up Telegraph Hill, but it was worth it.
Part of the hike goes through a golf course. Nice views, but wtf.
A quick stop in Chicago for Zoë’s wedding. Maduro took us to coffee, somewhere by Logan Square.
Aforementioned square.
But we were wedding hopping, so after a few days there we went to New Hampshire for the next one.
Nick and Alex asked me to bring my film camera, and they were kind enough to let me share this moment on the website. Congrats, you two!
Chinatown never disappoints. Yes, that’s a pig.
Continuing the hops, we went to Napa for the next one. Hali was there!
Then briefly back to Chicago for homecoming. No purple photos, though.
SF, again.
A Boogalos brunch portrait.
And bit later, a team offsite took me to Vancouver.
I went on a coffee walk or five with Joe, who I then proceeeded to force to walk with me to take this photo. He was a good sport. The photo didn’t come out great, though.
Curling is an unexpectedly great team building activity.
Vancouver is an odd spot. I had fun, though.
Back home, we went Twin Peak peeking.
This one was way better in my head. You probably didn’t even notice the wreath. Should have taken three steps to the right.
A Hannah special. Fall decorations courtesy of Emma and Kristian.
My mom and Hannah’s family came for Thanksgiving, which meant a lot more time near Union Square.
We went boatin’ with the fam.
